KFS is a Small Business Administration (SBA)-certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged business. We are majority owned by Na ‘Oiwi Kane, a not-for-profit Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO). Our NHO 8(a) classification enables us to accept no-bid Government contracts with no dollar limit.

What is Nā ‘Ōiwi Kāne?

Nā ‘Ōiwi Kāne was founded in 2001 and established an endowment through its controlling interest in several for-profit companies. These funds have been used to empower native Hawaiians through programs and projects focusing on transferring the skills, values, and practices of the traditional Hawaiian way of life to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our goal is to continue to grow the reach of our programs and projects to strengthen the native Hawaiian community.
